PRPS Jeans

Authenticity is the keystone of Prps. Each item is conceived with its purpose and function in mind, no detail is overlooked. Prps was founded by former Nike designer, Donwan Harrell in 2003. This New York brand is inspired by the denim worn by workers before it became popular as an everyday fashion. Integrity is built in from the African cotton to the expert Japanese milling of the denim on vintage Levi shuttle looms. This process which produces small batches of fabric with the signature purple selvedge, is slower (and more expensive) but results in denim of superior durability, texture and touch.

The exquisite craftsmanship is shown through the styles which combine a deceptively simple, rough hewn quality with an incredible richness to the details. With a brand motto of Bruised, never broken jean fanatics recognize the painstaking approach taken to replicate real wear and age. No two pairs of Prps jeans are alike. The jeans are put through an aggressive aging process and every stain, nick or abrasion is created by hand. And while they may be bruised, they will never be broken.
