Lee Jeans

Lee Jeans was founded over a hundred years ago by Henry David Lee in Salina, Kansas. Lee is responsible for such massive innovations in denim as the zipper fly and overalls, both developed during the 1920′s. In the early part of the century Lee became the number one manufacturer of work clothes in the United States after coming out with the Union-All and is now an international industry leader in casual wear and work wear. Lee Jeans have three primary lines, Lee Authentics, equipped with the latest cutting-edge styles and cuts, One True Fit, designed genuinely and exclusively for women with real curves and Lee 1889 their vintage-style line (named for the year the company was founded).

In an effort to raise money for breast cancer research, Lee National Denim Day was launched in 1996. Each year on a selected day during the month of October people are encouraged to wear denim to work and make a five dollar donation to the cause. Lee National Denim Day is now the world’s largest single-day fundraiser for breast cancer and has earned more than sixty-one million dollars in the course of their first decade.
