DKNY Jeans

DKNY Jeans is the brand behind a woman of monumental achievements; Donna Karan is the height of sophistication in the fashion industry. Karan is a native of New York City and daughter to a tailor and a show room model. Suffice it to say, fashion was an intrinsic force in her life. Before finishing her course at Parsons School of Design, Karan was hired by Anne Klein and excelled to such heights that she was named successor to Klein, subsequent to her death in 1974. In an effort to design the perfect jeans, Karan created DKNY in 1989. The brand gained instant popularity and was met with such enthusiasm that Karan expanded it to include numerous other labels. DKNY Jeans are sleek and modern, maintaining a look that is smart and casual in the face of the topsy turvy trends in denim today.
